Eyelids--Surgery--Handbooks, manuals, etc.
Posterior segment (Eye)--Surgery.
|Abstract||This article reviews some of the common office based surgical procedures that Oklahoma Optometrists can perform; including excision of eyelid neoplasms and treatment of posterior capsule opacification using Nd:YAG capsulotomy. The purpose of this project is to help educate current and future optometrists regarding office based surgical procedures. We chose this area of interest for our senior project because we were aware of the need for some type of instructional material for practicing optometrists. We hope that this instructional tool will be used to enhance the level of knowledge and comfort of optometrists who are interested in performing these procedures.|
